I grew up in Arlington, Tx, and have lived in Texas my entire life except for the 4 years I attended Missouri Baptist University, where I played baseball and graduated with a BS in Communications with a minor in Business.  My wife, Mandy and I were married the fall of 2004 and lived in Waco while she continued her education at Baylor University where she received her BS in Family & Consumer Science and her Masters Degree in Sport Management.  Mandy has worked at the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce for the last 2 years and has just given birth to our 1st child, Tatum Brylee.

I grew up with 2 older sisters and the only boy as minister's kids, as my father was the Minister of Music at our church.  I was raised by wonderful Christian parents who taught me very early in life that the only true happiness and joy is only found in having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Though there have been many tough times in my life and many times I didn't quite understand how, why, when, or where the Lord was taking me, he always had a plan for me...one to not harm me, but to give me hope and a future (Jer. 29:11).  As I look back, I can see that God had his hand in my life and allowed me to do many things including: becoming an All-American outfielder and student government president in college, playing for Athletes In Action - a mission trip playing baseball and sharing faith with other teams, meeting my wife, and now the opportunity to help begin Lifestone Church, here in Weatherford.
